1995 Convention - Tulsa, Oklahoma
The twenty-first annual NDGA Convention was held at the Tulsa
Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Convention was sponsored by
the Greater Tulsa Depression Era Glass Club, and the Convention
chairman was J. R. Johnston. J. R. was assisted by Verona Greenawalt,
and the Displays were handled by Sarah Van Dalsem. Setup was
coordinated by Ed Lodes and the program chairman was David Van Dalsem.
The Saturday night banquet was in a banquet room at the Convention
Center.
List of Seminars and Speakers for
the 1995 Convention
There were two seminars presented in Tulsa, both on Saturday and
Sunday. Speakers and topics were:
- Milbra Long & Emily Seate - "Fostoria's Era of Elegance: 1925
- 1943"
- Garry & Dale Kilgo - "Anchor Hocking's Fire-King years: 1942
- 1972"
In addition to the above seminars, a special guest at the Convention
was Fern Angus, a founding member of the NDGA and the NDGA's Club
Historian.
