The Seventh Annual NDGA Convention was held at the Al Bahr Shrine Temple in San Diego, California, on July 3-5, 1981. The Co-Chairmen of the Convention were Kathy & Gene Atwood, with Oleta Whitecotton acting as the NDGA Coordinator. The Convention was sponsored by the Greater San Diego Depression Glass Club. >/p>
On Saturday night there was a banquet held at the Rib Cage Restaurant and afterwards, Big Band music and dancing featuring Ira Cobb. The organizers also made arrangements for discount tickets to Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park for Convention attendees.
