Pam Dunkel

It's that time again and in case you don't know me or my face my name is Pam Dunkel. I live in Illinois & originally from Michigan. I am 62 years old and married to my husband Ron Dunkel and we have 4 adult sons. Steve Dunkel is my youngest son, and of which he is also the one who helps us at the glass & antique shows we do.

Ron & I have been doing shows and collecting glass and antiques since I was 18 and he was 21. We love it, it's our hobby & passion that has also become a thriving business. We personally collect the entire line of Duncan Miller glass, American Sweetheart (Monax), as well as a wide range of antiques & collectibles.

When we were 1st starting out, we had booths in 2 antique malls and were members of the Michigan Depression Glass Society. We were the youngest members at that time, and Ron & I were not even married yet. I have held the position of Table Setting Chairman at the club meetings and extremely dedicated to the annual glass show. We have done quite a number of glass shows in the circuit that we were able to because I was still working another job at that time. I truly love and appreciate the beauty, history, & elegance of glass. I have been to a certified Appraiser's School and have my degree in Graphics and Commercial Art. That is where my love of history and the top glass companies began of which flows through my veins. With my appreciation of glass, I would like to help, mentor, and teach the younger generations to appreciate this rich & vibrant part of the arts otherwise this pure form of art will become a distant memory.

In this bio I hope that you have had the opportunity to get to know me and with this I ask for your vote to once again be a part of the NDGA organization. Thank you again for your time & consideration.
